Enthusiast of Fine Art can meet the Artists that help make-up the strong Arts Community in Scott County. Take a self guided tour and see for yourself  how their artwork is created, during the Scott County Art Crawl on Friday & Saturday, September 30th & October 1st, 2011.

For two days, artists are opening up their studios, or displaying their artwork at sponsoring businesses, and inviting anyone with an interest in quality, original artwork to enjoy a fun self-guided tour of art stops during the Scott County Art Crawl.

Artists
will showcase their original artwork in paintings, photography, sculptures, glass art, pottery, jewelry and more.  Artwork will be available for purchase directly from the artists.  Art crawlers can choose to follow the entire loop, covering around 45 miles in scenic Scott County, focus on specific artists and/or mediums, or visit select areas on the crawl map.

Explore the Scott County Art Crawl and you may uncover an incredible piece of artwork for your home, find a unique gift for a friend, discover an emerging artist, or develop a new appreciation for the way artwork is created.

Watch for the 2011 press release coming soon.

This event is an opportunity for businesses, artists and the community to come together to celebrate art.  I am excited to participate in the art crawl, discover and connect with kindred spirits and fellow artists in the area,”
said Gini Wermerskirchen, an oil painter from Shakopee, MN.
